Since 1971 — more than 50 years. We opened as an 85-seat deli on Leslie Street in Toronto with six of us working to get the doors open, and there was already a line-up outside on day one.

We began with a mission: amazing dining experiences shouldn't be elitist. So we built a restaurant that combined quality with incredible value. We still have many of our original guests, too. Read our story.

Pickle Barrel Restaurants have over 40 items on our menu, with the addition of seasonal menu offerings throughout the year. Our Catering Commissary has over 300 items.

The 10% applies to food purchases only, excluding taxes, gratuities, alcohol and gift card purchases. It can't be combined with another offer or promotion, and it doesn't apply to Set Group Menus, Pickle Barrel delivery or third-party delivery orders.

Yes — 15% off your dine-in or pick-up order, on food purchases only. One Venngo perk per table, up to 6 guests, per visit. Not valid on third-party delivery or Pickle Barrel Catering.

Yes — SPC cardholders get 15% off regular priced food items, dine-in and takeout. Happy hour, alcohol and catering aren't included, and the discount applies to the cardholder's meal only. Show your SPC card to redeem.

No — CAA, Venngo and SPC each can't be combined with other offers or promotions.

We do — our menus can be filtered by dietary preference so you can see what works for you before you arrive. Try it on the food menu, or ask your server and we'll point you in the right direction.

Tell your server before you order and we'll do everything we can. Allergen detail for every item is on our Nutrition and Allergens page. Please note our kitchens handle a wide range of ingredients, so we can't guarantee any item is completely free of a given allergen.

Yes. The Pickle Barrel is a great place to celebrate corporate events, holidays, family gatherings, teams and birthdays. Submit an inquiry and our team will follow up with information and menus suited to your event.

There are two forms depending on your group size: 24 people or fewer, or 25 people or more. Select your event type on the form and add any details in the Additional Details section.

A balloon-decorated table, digital invitations, kids meals including pop and dessert, a free kids meal for the birthday child, and a discount for your next visit. Optional entertainment is available at additional cost — ask our Events Team.

The package starts at $120 before taxes and gratuity for a minimum of 10 kids aged 12 and under. Additional children can be added at $12 per child, before taxes and gratuities. Add-ons and upgrades aren't included.

The package is designed for groups of 10 or more, with additional children welcome at $12 per child plus taxes and gratuities. Speak to our Events Team for details.

Submit an inquiry — 24 and under or 25 or more — and tick "Kids Birthday Party" under Type of Event, adding your details in the Additional Details section.

At least 48 hours, so we can have all the perks ready — balloons and a few surprises included. We'll always try to accommodate last-minute bookings, but we can't guarantee every perk with less than 48 hours' notice.

Absolutely, and there's no cake-cutting fee. Just let our Events Team know you'll be bringing one.

Yes. Our packages include balloons and table coverings in the colour of your choice, subject to availability, and you're welcome to bring your own decorations on top of that — just tell our Events Team what you're planning.

Yes — at least one adult over the age of 18 must be in attendance for the duration of the event.

We do, for groups of 10 to 5,000. Our full service catering has been making occasions special for over 50 years — from picnics and BBQs to wedding receptions and corporate cocktail parties. See catering.

Orders for next-day delivery can be placed up until 11:59pm EST the day before.

No minimum order overall, though some individual catering items do have a per-person minimum.

Yes — deliveries run 6am to 5pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year. A minimum $30 delivery charge applies within the GTA, calculated based on your shipping address. Delivery outside the GTA is available for an additional charge.

At our Catering Commissary, 110 Denison Street, Unit 3, Markham, Ontario, L3R 1B6.

Breakfast, appetizer platters, hors d'oeuvres, pinwheels and tea sandwiches, family meals, individual meals, pasta, stir-fry, salads, sandwich platters, high tea and desserts. Coffee or tea is available by the 12 or 20 cup.

We do — Continental Corporate Breakfast for early meetings, Executive Breakfast for boardrooms, and wrap and sandwich platters for all-day events.

Yes — your Pickle Barrel gift card can be used as payment towards a catering order. Gift Card payments are processed over the phone with one of our Catering consultants.

We offer Pickle Barrel delivery, and our restaurants are on third-party delivery apps too. Note that partner discounts like CAA and Venngo don't apply to delivery orders.
